I fell in love with photography in film school. For the last 20 years I have been working in the film industry on various projects for networks including CNN, Netflix, and HBO, shooting portraits and behind the scenes photography along with my film work. Working as a cameraperson, I have collaborated with some of the industry's luminaries. I have worked for and with some of the best cinematographers in the business, including three winners of the Academy Award for Best Cinematography. It's been more than just a learning experience; it's been a treasure trove of inspiration. I've taken notes, absorbed their wisdom, and, I must admit, shamelessly borrow their masterful lighting techniques every time I pick up a camera.

Why, you ask? Well, all of it, every last bit of knowledge and experience, goes towards one goal: making your portaits extraordinary. My aim is to create images that are nothing short of amazing, that capture not just your likeness, but your spirit. Every stolen technique, every well-learned lesson, is dedicated to illuminating you in the best possible light. So, here I am, two decades deep into this incredible journey, still just as in love with photography as I was in film school. And I can't wait to use everything I've learned, every skill I've honed, to create stunning photographic memories for you. Because, at the end of the day, photography for me is not just about capturing a moment &mdash; it's about creating a timeless piece of art.

There is no time limit with the headshot sessions I offer. We go at your pace, taking as long as you'd like to get the shots you need. Unlimited outfit and background changes. The session fee includes a coaching call before your session to answer any of your questions, and make sure you feel fully prepared to get the best headshots of your life. (We will go into styling and wardrobe suggestions, hair and make up suggestions and more.) As the shoot progresses, we will be looking at your images as we go, giving us the chance to make any changes you need in order to make certain that you're getting incredible headshots. After the shoot, we will sit down and look over all the shots we have taken. You will pick your favorite shots for professional editing and retouching, and those shots will be ready for you in 3-5 business days.

Once your family has booked a session, I will walk you through every step of the process. We will talk about the "style" of family pictures that speak to you the most (more formal/posed or more relaxed/documentary).
